Mark Fernandes
Principal
Mark is an experienced real estate investor and operator who currently oversees his family office with a primary focus on New Jersey real estate. He founded Fernandes & Company to bring institutional caliber analyst services and capital markets advisory to investors, developers, family offices, brokers, and operators who demand precision but don't need the overhead of a large firm.
With deep roots in the industry, Mark began his career at a young age working alongside his father and grandfather in property renovations and management. Over the years he built a strong foundation across every phase of the real estate lifecycle: underwriting, acquisitions, financing, operations, and disposition. He has personally underwritten billions in real estate assets, managed nine figure portfolios, closed over 200 buy-side and 150+ sell-side transactions.
His extensive experience structuring transactions has been a driving force behind his success across multiple partnerships. Clients rely on Mark for his ability to think creatively, model with conviction, and deliver institutional quality work product on an aggressive timeline.
Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their 3 children. In his free time, he finds joy in camping, sailing, and spending time on the water.
